Studio · Since 1998

Architecture is a way of organizing time.

Founded in 1998 by Min-Je Kim, la-fraise Architecture Lab works across residential, commercial, exhibition and hospitality architecture. Projects include the Ferrari Show Room, recipient of the 2006 Gangnam Architecture Award; Mark Hills 1 and 2 (2001, 2009); Prada Transformer (2010, in collaboration with Rem Koolhaas + OMA); KOKOMO Boutique Hotel (2016); PAUSE Residence Jeju (2015); and THE APOGEE (2021).

We begin with the physical qualities of materials and the proportions of space. Honest structure and the flow of light guide our work, supported by a complete process from site interpretation to construction supervision.
